We will be closed from 28 July 2025 through 3 August 2025. 

From here forward, J&L Shooting Academy will no longer take clients for concealed handgun permit classes, who have been cited for carrying concealed without a permit. Why? We reserve the right to refuse service as we see fit. Also, we have recieved numerous phone calls from individuals who have found themselves in this situation and need to "take the class ASAP". We feel that their disregard or ignorance of the law does not constitute an emergency on our part. Also do not call us and ask how you get your confiscated gun back. We do not know, nor do we know if you will get them back. Hire a lawyer for that issue. We are not trying to be rude about this, but we are just no comfortable in providing services / classes for this type of situation.
